One of our two cats was recently diagnosed with heart disease and put on 2x daily medication, two weeks before our non-refundable vacation. After getting over that initial shock, we realized we needed a game plan on how he would be looked after properly, along with his sister, during our trip.
We were so fortunate to find Susanne (OC Pet Companions) who came by for an initial consult. One of my cats is incredibly shy, and Susanne immediately put her at ease. She even brought a new toy for them to play with! She had a very gentle, calm and friendly persona and our cats seemed to warm to her almost instantly (no small feat).
The visits themselves went great. Susanne texted or emailed us an update, complete with photos, after every visit. We were naturally incredibly nervous given the newly diagnosed heart disease for one of our cats, but it was wonderful and after the first (okay, maybe second) reassuring text, we were able to relax and enjoy our trip. We came back to find detailed notes on how each visit went, and our cats were really relaxed. I highly recommend her, and will absolutely use her for all future needs!
